The String Extravaganza information is not currently available.
It will include all of the orchestras from the Cherry Hill middle schools. The students will spend the afternoon practicing and meeting new friends, have dinner together, then perform selections seperately with a gala performance of a combined piece at he end. This performance is open to the public. All are welcome.
The CHORAL/Orff/Recorder Winter Concert is scheduled for Monday, December 17, 2012, at H.S. WEST and the Spring Concert is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at H.S. WEST. Both concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. They will include the 6, 7, and 8th grade choruses and the orchestra, as well as the A Cappella groups and some small-group ensembles.
The INSTRUMENTAL Winter Concert is scheduled for Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at H.S. WEST and the Spring Concert is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at H.S. WEST. Both concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. They will include the 6, 7, and 8th grade bands and the Rosa Jazz Band, as well as some small-group ensembles.
The Twelfth Annual Piano Recital is scheduled for March 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rosa Library. It is open to any Rosa student interested in performing and displaying his/her pianistic talents. Because there are so many talented piano players in this school, it is the perfect opportunity to perform, as there is no band or ensemble for piano players. We encourage all pianists to participate in this event. Information to follow.
The 12th Annual Cherry Hill Schools Jazz Showcase will be held on February 14, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature the jazz bands from all 3 middle schools and 2 high schools in Cherry Hill. The performance will take place in the Rosa International Middle School gymnasium. The performance is open to the public and free of charge. We invite anyone who loves jazz to come and enjoy this evening.
